
5 To make the drapes roll out a long strip of paste. Assemble the multi ribbon cutter with all of the spacers and both plain cutting wheel. Roll it along the paste to cut out an even strip. Divide the cake into six. Cut the strip into appropriate lengths.

6 Place the paste onto kitchen paper and dust with snowflake powder colour. Lightly fold over one edge of the paste to remove the cut edge. Gently add in the other fold and attach to the cake, secure with gum glue.

7 The bottom border for the middle tier is also prepared using the multi ribbon cutter, but assembled using a small spacer and the stitches attached to the wavy line cutting wheel. Cut out the paste, gently roll it up and unroll around the cake

8 To create the double edge lace border, start by embossing the lace as for the single one. Turn the embosser around and overlap slightly before pressing firmly. Use the lace cutter to cut to shape and attach to the cake.
